Important Note: 

CEA is currently reviewing the list of qualifications deemed to be equivalent to a pass in the RES examination and a pass in the REA examination. The final stage of the review is expected to complete by the second half of 2021.

Students applying for the National University of Singapore's Bachelor of Science (Real Estate) course, and Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Diploma in Real Estate Business course from 2020 onwards, will be affected by the revised policies.

Note: 

1. Individuals who have passed all 3 examinations in General Practice by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) shall be deemed to have obtained qualifications equivalent to a pass in the RES examination and a pass in the REA examination.

2. Holders of qualifications in non-real estate related fields such as business administration, economics, marketing, law etc will be required to take the REA/RES examination.
